This Project was about finding qualities of 7 different typefaces or "tasty bits" and exploring what made each unique.

We researched the fonts and thought about the styles of each, how they were used, what they made us think of, and what kind of job they would have. then we zoomed in closely on each element and picked out specific parts of the form to look at further.

we took the forms from our explorations and then put elements from each font and combined them into a single composition.

we also printed them on a large format printer

this composition I presented it black and white, I wanted to create a hierarchy amongst separate groups of letterforms. 

this was presented in a greyscale and focused largely on the large f. my favorite bit was the lowercase k from rockwell because of how the arm and leg of the k intersect with the stem.
